If you're in Preston and you feel like you've lost yourself somewhere under everyone else's needs, you're not alone, and it can change. I'm Hannah, a BACP-registered counsellor and therapist for women, working online across Preston and in person on the Fylde Coast.
Most Preston clients meet me online by secure video, which keeps sessions easy around work and family. If you'd rather come in person, my room is in Blackpool (FY4 4QU) with free parking, around thirty minutes away.
What I help with

How I can help women in Preston.

01

People-Pleasing & Anxiety

Say no without the guilt, set boundaries that stick, and quiet the worry about what everyone thinks.

02

Burnout Therapy

Recover from running on empty, and learn to rest without guilt.

03

Relationship Issues Counselling

Communicate, hold boundaries, and stop shrinking yourself to keep the peace.

04

Depression Counselling

Lift the heaviness and find your way back to feeling like you again.

How it works

Starting is the hardest part. So I keep it simple.

A free 15-minute chat

A relaxed, no-pressure call to see if we're the right fit. Not therapy, not a sales pitch, just a start.

STEP 02

Your plan

A flexible, pluralistic plan shaped around you, drawing on the approaches that actually help, never one-size-fits-all.

STEP 03

Our sessions

Meet Hannah

From people-pleaser to straight-talking therapist.

I spent years saying yes when I meant no, tying my worth to how much I did for everyone else, until burnout made me stop. Therapy changed everything for me. Now I do the same for other women.
I'm Hannah McLachlan, a BACP-registered pluralistic counsellor based in Blackpool. Pluralistic simply means therapy shaped around you, not a fixed method. Warm, honest and jargon-free, with plenty of brew.

In their words

Women who stopped feeling "not enough".

"Hannah helped me hugely with my self esteem and confidence. I feel so much more authentically myself and am better able to be direct and honest with people instead of people pleasing. I now feel in control and look positively to the future thanks to Hannah's help."

Testimonial

"I feel more confident in myself, more ME! This is a feeling I didn't even know existed a couple of months ago. Now I see that boundaries are healthy and necessary in keeping the relationships I am in, good and safe/sane to me. I've learnt a lot about myself and I kind of can't get enough of this version of myself, my true self."

Testimonial

"I've been seeing Hannah, for the past 12 months or so, to help with my anxiety and overall mental health. Hannah has a down to earth, relatable and empathetic approach that has made me feel heard and supported."
